Leaving Facebook

I don’t feel I can give Facebook my clicks anymore. It’s a horrid toxic environment. I liked to promote my books there but I’m leaving tomorrow. Ending my account. I’ll try to post more promotional material here. I’m on MeWe if anybody wants to look for me there. I hang out in Sarah Hoyt’s Diner.

    btw Mac
i just saw a nod to your April series in Bob Blanton’s book Delphi Nation

“I read a book where they got mushroom spores into the air system, and it really messed things up”

Excellent idea. I only use it for family communication and because so many of my close contacts use it and messenger. I never look at any of the horrible crap there. I keep pushing for us all to leave for a different system but so far not there yet.

Yes, I recognized the allusion to April when I read that, made me smile.

The only thing more toxic than Facebook is Twitter, and both are banned in this household.

It will be months. How about reading my shorts or collections of shorts? They’re cheap too.

Adverse Possession is one of my favorites.

Paper or Plastic? – is a good one, too.
I still wish it would get kids 🙂

I’m not really participating in Facebook or other social plattforms.
No time for it and I don’t care to be a open book for people I don’t know.
The highest I started, was a blog to sort my favourite books – and still no time to take care of that.
But I am glad some of my favourite authors like Mr. Chandler are communicating with their fans via website and some social plattforms. It is really nice to get some tidbits about updates or with snippets. Thanks for pampering us! ^^

I really liked your started then withdrawn craft story. I get that some objected to the themes but is was a very good story. I sure wish you would restart it.
