What’s happening:

I’ve signed a contract for audiobooks of the four Family Law series books. They will be released one by one over the next year.
I’ve settled on a title for the next release as “Neither Here nor There”. There is a book of that title on Amazon but it seems unlikely it would be confused. It is a paperback only for $45 done off a vanity press.
It’s at 110k words and Sarah Hoyt has agreed to do the cover. It will go to readers soon. Just a reminder it is a stand alone.
I’m still trying to get paper books. I tried out a person who was unable to make printable copy. Still working on it.

Is there any space stuff in this book or is it all Cali survivalist stuff?

Oh there will be space stuff. I do want to show how they get to space.

I’m certain I heard music like “When The Saints Go Marching In” when reading about the signing for audiobooks for Family Law…. Usually I’m not doing an Ally McBeal…

I’m really looking forward to them – I love reading in English, but speaking and spelling it correct… is another story 🙂
So there are sometimes some “Oohhhh”-s for me, listening to names in audiobooks.

I’ve had plenty of people tell me I need help with English too, but I manage to muddle my way through.

Maybe if the Family Law series sells well they will make me an offer.

That’s interesting, I read both series but by far I find the April series more compelling.

    Hey Mac:

Any news on next book’s release date? Any news on current book your working on?

    • Mac January 25, 2018 at 11:22 am #

Going to post about that now.

Re-reading both series as I’ve run out of good books to read and yo’uns {authors} don’t write as fast as I read. Hopefully you have some new ones coming out. It would be cool if some books came out with some snarky AIs partnered with humans…

    • Mac January 29, 2018 at 7:21 pm #

Uh huh… Takes note. AIs with personality.

If you don’t know it yet, you can try the Fox Meridian series by Nial Teasdale. Fox has a personal assistant AI with personality.

Thanks for the advice. Right now I’m disabled with limited (very limited, not even a TV) income, so I’m sticking to Kindle Unlimited. I read all the Union Station so far and all of Mr. Chandler’s, which I’m in the midst of re-reading. I love snarky and smart sci-fi.

It’s funny how things from books stick in your head. Never would I have imagined that I would be walking along one day and have the following repeating over and over in my head:

    rup rup rup chunka thump

Somehow it’s OK, because the instigator has the same name as me.

I confess I can’t remember where that is written. The bit machine, right?
“They Said it would be Easy” had to look it up…

Yep the sound of money being made. 🙂
