Coming along.

April 11 is at 121k words.
Looking back for continuity I found a couple small errors such as mixing Alpha Centauri with Proxima Centauri. I’ll fix those too.

I’ve starter rereading the whole series while I wait for book 11, but it is slow going due to eye sight problems that only let me read a little each day before it starts to hurt. Yet I’m still reading. I love this series <3

Happy New Year and welcome to 2020, hm 2020 looks like something out of a scify story… 😀

Jørgen – It’s only the first four books of the Family Law series – no April series – but those are available as audio books if that helps. Sorry I know they aren’t cheap but I see they have some sort of promotional deal for new signups. There is also a sample on the audiobook pages. I can’t hear it myself so you’d have to judge if it is pleasant.
I have given away all the free copies of F.L. 1 & 2 to visually impaired people who needed them. If you’d like links to #3 and #4 to download a zip file of them tell me and I’ll email them to you.

      Jorgen,
Not sure if you have the Alexa app or any of Amazon’s house spies…Echo or some such…
But Alexa, while not as good as a trained voice artist will read those books to you. Especially if those bad eyes are failing you at a key point in the plot.
      Regards,
      1Stew

Its a triplet stellar system so from some directions and at certain times navigators might also jump to the wrong star but iirc each star could have different human made stuff and different claims over things..

I figured I’d go look. Expecting consensual scientists to let stars and planets to keep their designation and name is like expecting a whore not to have an STD.

Current names are as follows. These Names in all their official glory, are subject to change based on any of personal, political or pseudo scientific whim.

The system is Alpha Centauri the stars are:

      α Centauri A Rigil Kentaurus HR 5459
      α Centauri B Toliman HR 5460
      α Centauri C Proxima Centauri GJ 551

      https://www.iau.org/public/themes/naming_stars/

My candidates names follow. They are as comprehensible as any and they amuse me.

      α Centauri A Rocket Man
      α Centauri B Glassbeast
      α Centauri C Kirk

Less funny would be a universally unique identifier that cannot be easily misentered manually. It’s something machines tend to digest better yet humans can somewhat slowly data-enter if needed.
