I just published Family Law #8, I Never Applied for This Job

I’ll change it as the latest book release tomorrow. It’s a little involved to do tonight.

I’m so happy! I just woke up and logged into pc. I had planned on spending the day updating an ebook reader I have been making. I am in the middle of fixing bugs on a port from android to ios. I am using dontet maui so it supports android, ios, mac, and windows. But now I will be reading your book cover to cover unless someone pings me with something I need to do now.

  4. Mike G. says:

Excellent, purchased! Now I just have to wait for the work day to end…

  8. NopiSoul says:

fantastic, purchased! Now I just have to wait for the work day to end… and the obligatory sleep time I need between workdays…

  9. Teresa says:

    Enjoyed it very much. Thanks!

  10. Ed Greenberg says:

I have found a bunch of instances that read, Trish, rather than ‘Tish.’ Kindle says I’m about 25% through it and boy am I ever enjoying it.

  11. Cian Hrolfr says:

Enjoyed the book very much!! Thanks for a wonderful story. BTW, ran into several instances of “o” being “0” (zero) in words…
Again, thank you for a wonderful continuing yarn.

  12. Hauke Sattler says:

    Thank you for the book.
Read it within 24 hours. It was so good I couldn’t put it away. Now tired as hell.
Will read it many times more.

    Question:
What age is Tish? I mean development wise between “all boys are icky” and “well that hunk may be good catch”
Will she soon end up on the radar of young badgers (or their parents) realizing she would be a VERY wealthy wife?

    Spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m somewhat a little sad about the enforced break between Talker and Lee. I hope you will be able to fix that in some future book. I liked Talker.
I would also love to see some Badger/Bill/Cat 1st person view how they perceive the insane wealth/power Lee wields.

  13. Sönke says:

    Thanks for the book

Read it on unlimited, will soon reread the whole series on vacation will then purchase the book. Don’t mind paying twice for quality.

  14. Mike G. says:

That was a good read, thanks. The sea people made me think of Robert Forward’s _Rocheworld_ and the Flouwen a bit, another set of interesting sea-based aliens.

  15. Monica says:

Thank you so much. I’m embarrassed to say I’m on my third reread! I do have a question. Dan Prescott is Irwin’s assistant in the April series, and is with the bank on Providence. In this latest book, Dan Prescott, head of USNA Space force resigned. I just wondered if you intended to use that name for the Space force guy.

  16. Enid James says:

Just finished Family Law #8. Very good as usual. But….you need to get another editor. #8, unlike all the April books and the other 7 Family Laws, was rife with mis-spellings, wrong verb tenses, missing words, and confusing punctuation. Regardless, looking forward to #9 and the continuing story of Lee, the Badgers, Tom, and the Trio.

  17. Mark says:

    Mack,
    bought it and loved it.

Could Gordon be called “Grampa” by either Tish or Trix?
