“I have that much influence?” Akari teased.
“My dear, some days I think everything is run by a shadow government of spouses, pulling the reins from behind the scenes. It would explain why the flaming idiots can never come to a decision in one brief meeting. They need to check at home to find out what they believe.”
“If our hosts speak about politics, you should advance that theory to them,” Akari suggested. “I’ll be watching closely to see if it changes how they regard me.”
“You tempt me,” Kawasa said.

100k+ words? Huzzah! That’s about novel length, just need to find the right stopping place, then do the editing etc. really looking forward to it, whether it’s the final April or not. I also enjoy the Family Law series, and Fair Trade seems to be begging for a sequel. Whatever you decide to write I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.

I am looking forward to the next release in both series.

How about finishing the April arc, calling the Family Law arc done & carry on with a 3rd arc & a new name.
No. Simply no. There are too many tales to be told in both story arcs to just stop and start a new one. The latest Family Law just got the 3+1 relationship started. Imagine how the four could team for more exploration using the new materials quantum FTL
Plus, I so wanna see how Lee develops as a human being over a few decades.

What I failed to say properly is that I thought a third arc would start with Lee consolidating her hold on Providence & go on from there.
I agree that there is much to explore with the 3 backing her.
Maybe building to a collection of multi species worlds with Lee as a reluctant something – empress? boss lady? What would you call it?

I hope you continue the Family Law stories or at least combine the to story arcs. I loved the last two Family Law books with the main characters from both series.
