About Mac
Mac' Chandler is a retired in the pleasant little town of Rochester MI and writes when he isn't puttering about being a house husband. I've taken to posting my writing for sale on Kindle. I hang out at Baen Bar Chat and shoot rifles even older than me. I've worked so many jobs it is hard to remember them all. Most had to do with some flavor of machining or construction. In particular I was a mold maker and a plumber. I enjoy photography and when I have the patience drawing. For some reason animals like me, not so much people. I stop at garage sales when I see them as well as most red lights. If you see a beat up old black pickup truck that looks like it needs towed I may be somewhere close.
I believe that they could reload and get the correct copy. It would be an update. I have had the covers change on some of my e-books.
I think in the worst case the update might have to be manually requested in the list of ebook purchases in your amazon profile.
Yeah, that would work too if they try after the replacement file has propagated. Just bothers me to mess up.
To err is human. Or Derf. Or…. 😉 Don’t get too upset about this. And thanks for the quality time I have spent with your books!
What was the correction?
Hey Mac, just read the latest installment in Eric Flint’s 1632 series, and I was struck by the thought that the April/FL universe would also lend itself to the sort of multi-author metastasis that has seen so many 1632 spinoffs using minor characters. You’d have to set some rules, but there are plenty of minor characters in both series whose lives and backstories I would be delighted to read. It would also give your legions of fans something to do while waiting for April 11 & FL 5. You already hang out at Baen’s Bar, which, I believe, is where the 1632 spinoffs were gestated, so there are likely some denizens there who recall how that all got set up. Just an idle thought…
Thinking on it. My age is a factor both ways.
