Temporarily withdrew paper

I’m having difficulty with the paperback editions. You change one thing and it changes others unexpectedly. The young fellow helping me with this is tied up getting a place to live for a couple weeks so I’m just pulling them until we can get together and get them formatted right. I’m pretty sure a couple sold with problems like no indents in a couple chapters. Let me know if you received an unacceptable copy like that and I’ll replace it when we have it fixed. As much as Amazon wants for this big a book you should have a clean copy.

I ordered the paper books a while back but haven’t actually looked inside them.
Maybe these books will be like mis-struck coinage that ends up being insanely valuable years later. In the decades to come (I sincerely hope) you will be proven astonishingly prescient and I’ll be sitting there on Home in my dotage with genuine Chandler first editions, errors and all.
I just finished your latest and have a few requests / questions:
What’s happening with the Caterpillars? In the last FL book you hinted that Central was communicating quite well with them, much better than Lee and her crew. In this book they’re not mentioned at all, not even that they’d taken off with Thor’s expedition.
And Thor’s expedition … how’s that going? Any new allies or enemies discovered?
I would have like to see some of the machinations behind the USNA’s decision to pull the trigger on another war. I remember the early April books when you showed the French leaders contemplating their relationship to Home, and the bungling of the USNA, UN and Chinese. I don’t need pages of detail, but there was never any reason given (beyond general dysfunction) for the USNA to attempt their genocide of Home and her sister stations, and that seemed to be a glaring omission to me.
And finally I’d love to see Lee, Gordon and their fledgling Registry take back Providence, by force if necessary. It was obvious when they visited (way too briefly, btw), that the Earth based Commission is untrustworthy and now that the USNA is at war with all spacers and their allies and the old Claims Commission is in total disarray I can’t see them continuing to pay Lee and Gordon. With no space navy left thanks to April, how would the USNA participate in the mutual protection pact that’s the basis of the Commission anyway? I can see a lot of tension amongst the Earth powers about that.
Anyway, I loved the book, your recent April teaser and eagerly await whatever you come up with next. Your imagination is a joy to behold.
