Out to readers

April 11 = “All in Good Time” is being read. Sits back and waits for incredulous replies and accusations of dementia. No, no, it’s the booze.

Excellent! Read faster, readers! (But also find all the typos and make good suggestions šŸ™‚ )

I can only hope your drinking Old Forester 1910. Which should be Jeff’s Production goal!

    Must have been good booze!

A nice Sol Rouge 2014 Cabernet Franc (Red Hills) with a 92pt rating would be nice too. And good for you in moderation.

Great! Looking forward to when I’ll be the one doing the reading!!

So sad Iā€™m not s beta reader šŸ™

But Bree as you will pay for for copy to read you are a better reader.

I hope the beta readers are up on their grammar! I know it’s offensive to say, but I’m re-reading and … oh my gosh. Sad!

Of course I /am/ reasonably up on my grammar and offered to be a beta reader and was declined; I’d not be so blunt in a public forum otherwise.

      Fingers crossed.

(I don’t look for problems; I get tripped up by them.)

Don’t know how to tell you, but they don’t speak German in Belgium. The languages are French in the south or Flemish in the north (and yes, in a tiny teeny part in the east they speak German but that’s so tiny and so near the border, the last chapter doesn’t really make sense – they don’t even have a city in that region it’s so small). Not police commissioner would use German as the official language and certainly no papers would be written in it.

Well crud I appreciate the heads up – That’s going to take a bit to fix – I may just switch where he is arrested. –Went with Bonn.

But this is the FUTURE, German could be possible…

      • Mac February 19, 2020 at 4:41 am #

Just about anything is possible – if I take long enough to explain why it happened…

And after binge reading the entire April series this week I have only one thing to say. WHEN IS THE NEXT APRIL BOOK OUT!

In response to the earlier comment it’s actually pretty easy for example: Due to the EU police standardization policy of 2053 and the mandatory all Europe Police training academy located in Bremen the German language became almost the standard language of police work much like court languages from earlier periods of European history for many EU countries. But it is probably easier to just change the city

Very good…Month and months before the next. Sorry. I am also cleaning up a lot of the grammar on the old ones. I go back and forth between them.

I have read all of the April series so far (Books 1-11) in the past two weeks. I hope that the books in the Family Law series will help me hang in there as I look forward to Book 12! Thanks for writing this series!

Does the Typo feedback on Amazon Kindle get back to you?

    • Mac February 24, 2020 at 8:17 pm #

Yes, they send me an email. But you can send them direct and I pay them the same attention.
The last few weeks I’ve processed all the April books through Grammarley and the correction engine in Word 2019. That turns out to be much better than Word 2007. They are much cleaner now. I’m in the middle of “Paper or Plastic?” and then I’ll do the Family Law books. Either the clean-up is helping sales or just reaching a certain number of books has made sales and page views not fall off yet from the last book out.
